I am a loyal Nike client and have worn via literally about 6-7 pairs of the earlier model, the Air Monarch III, more than the last couple of years. I didn't notice much of a distinction at first when I began wearing the IV's, but about three-4 weeks in, they began squeaking. I bought two pairs and figured it was just a flukey thing so I started wearing the other pair, and like clockwork, they were squeaking within the similar time period. It is my understanding that this is a production issue, not a design concern. The two pairs had been purchased a great deal more than a month apart in two separate regions, which raises questions about Nike high quality control. I named Nike corporate and they seemed disinterested. Hope they uncover a fix. The Air Monarch III's had been fantastic shoes and it's a bummer that they've screwed up its successor.
Comfortable, yes. But not wearable. Tremendously loud squeaking started just a week or so following I bought them. Need to have looked at reviews initially I guess.
